2026 marks our 46th Year as an industry leader in community-based, coordinated transportation and brokerage systems. The Team at Paratransit Services never faltered in our mission to provide quality coordinated transportation and community services that meet the needs of the people we are entrusted to serve were provided!

It just seems like yesterday that I was blessed to join Paratransit Services in 2001. 2026 will be my 22nd year as President/CEO for Paratransit Services and my 25th year with the company. 2026 will also be my last year with Paratransit as I’m announcing my retirement effective 12/31/2026. I’ve been blessed by each of our employees daily and I’m very proud of all we’ve accomplished together making a difference in the lives of the people we’ve been entrusted to serve these past 25 years. I will miss each of you!

Christie Scheffer, Paratransit’s current EVP/COO, has been named by the Board of Directors the new President/CEO-Designee and will take over as President/CEO effective January 1, 2027.

Whether our customers know us as the driver of their accessible public transit system bus, or as the friendly call center voice who arranges their Medicaid or ADA-related transportation, we want our customers to know they can always depend on us for service that is courteous and professional.

We know the key to meeting this commitment lies with our employees. It is through their service, commitment, ownership, teamwork, and integrity that we continue to build a successful Community Service Organization.

Our employees are what have made Paratransit Services successful over the past 45 years. Each day when we come to work we have the opportunity to “make a difference” in someone’s life. Humble caring service and appreciation for people is at the core of what every Paratransit employee’s mission is each day. There are not many people or companies that have such an opportunity throughout their work day and I am proud to be associated with each of our employees.

From the “front line” to corporate headquarters, Paratransit Services employees share the goal of providing the best customer service in the Transportation and Coordinated Services Industry. As I enter my final year as President/CEO it’s the employees that make my job a pleasure, and my confidence in our future remains unshakeable!
