President & CEO David Baker Celebrates 25 Years with Paratransit Services

Bremerton, Washington - On May 29, 2026, David Baker, President and CEO of Paratransit Services, celebrated 25 years of service with the company.

Mr. Baker joined Paratransit Services in 2001 as Controller, following a 20-year career in the aerospace, high-tech, and finance industries, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions. During that period, he held several senior finance and operational leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for National Industrial Concepts in Woodinville; Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of QPM Aerospace in Seattle; Group Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Aerospace in Wenatchee; Estimating and Finance Manager for Rohr Aerospace in San Diego, California; and Finance Manager for General Dynamics, also in San Diego.

As the son of a disabled mother who contracted polio at the age of six, Mr. Baker considered himself “blessed” to make a career change and join a company that cares about the communities it serves while focusing every day on making a difference in people’s lives.

After joining Paratransit Services as Controller in 2001, Mr. Baker was promoted to Executive Vice President of Administration and Business Development in 2003. Just two years later, he was named President and CEO. He has held that role for the past 22 years and is only the third individual to serve as President and CEO since Paratransit Services was founded in 1980.

Reflecting on the milestone, Mr. Baker said:

“Twenty-five years has gone by in what seems to be the blink of an eye. My first granddaughter turned 25 this year as well, and I remember her as a small toddler running around in my office. I said when I joined this company that I felt truly blessed to be a part of Paratransit Services, and now, 25 years later, I’m very thankful to have been a part of the company making a difference in the lives of the people we’ve been entrusted to serve for so long, while also serving as the longest-tenured President & CEO.”

Mr. Baker has also announced that he will retire effective at the end of 2026.

“It’s time for new leadership to take place and lead the company through the next phase of its existence,” Mr. Baker said. “It’s also time for me to spend more time with my wife, Jacki; my grandkids; in Arizona; golfing; and riding my Harley—and maybe even writing a devotional book for executives. I’ll always treasure my time at Paratransit, the relationships made, and the lives touched. It’s truly been a humbling experience.”

The awards presentation was held at the Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls, Oregon. It was attended by the company’s senior executive staff and general managers, who gathered to celebrate Mr. Baker’s achievement.

Paratransit Services remains committed to making a difference each day in the lives of its employees and in the communities it proudly serves. The company is honored to recognize David Baker for reaching this remarkable milestone and extends its sincere appreciation for his dedication to the team and the communities we serve.
